Aeration Systems
The Aquastrip panels are membrane-type fine bubble air diffusers for aeration processes of activated sludge treatment plants. The panel diffusers are large surface units fixed directly on the bottom of the tank, consisting of a support frame in AISI 316Ti or PVC, on which a 0.6 mm thick polyurethane (PU) membrane is stretched and microperforated with 400,000 holes per square meter, chemically inert and designed to last. High coverage provides a particularly low specific airflow, allowing the production of very fine and uniformly distributed bubbles with consequent high efficiency of oxygen transfer. The peculiarities of the system make it perfectly suitable for use in intermittent aeration processes.
IFAS wastewater treatment technology

The addition of an integrated fixed film activated sludge system (or IFAS) can increase the performance and efficiency of an activated sludge system by taking advantage of existing wastewater treatment technology and enhancing it with biological treatment methods. IFAS wastewater treatment systems offer a number of benefits to facilities using activated sludge treatment systems, and installing an IFAS system in a wastewater treatment plant is relatively simple.
